Program Objectives
The program is quite comprehensive wherein it takes you through design, modelling, manufacturing, and packing of battery with the aim to make you an expert in Battery design and development.
Entry Requirements
There is no formal entry requirement for the eLearning courses, however a basic understanding and experience of motor vehicles would be beneficial for some of the modules.

Hybrid vehicle and its configurations - EV and EV with road extenders
- Estimate the battery size for given vehicle
- Estimate the E-motor for given vehicle
- Types of cells and cell chemistry
- Cell connections and module design
- Battery cooling system size estimation
- Different types of cooling system design and development
- High voltage system design and development including busbar materials
- Battery system housing design and development
- Battery management system and its functions
- Simulations to be performed on different systems of battery
- Different testing's to be performed on a battery as per standards
